Greenpeace Nominee Trust Approved in Loudon
On March 20, 2014, the Town of Loudon Planning Board approved the Site Development Plan for Greenpeace Nominee Trust paving the way for a commercial development on Route 106 directly across from the main entrance of the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Northpoint has been working on this project with owner Dave Pritchard for nearly three years in order to get approvals in place for the construction of a buildable pad area for a future commerical development.
The site posed many challenges along the way, including a variety of wetlands, steep slopes, and shallow bedrock. We have been working with NHDES, the Loudon Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and Planning Board over the course of the last two years to come up with a practical plan for developing the property while maintaining and protecting the valuable natural resources on the site.
With the final State permits expected this Spring, Mr. Pritchard is excited for the site work construction to get underway. In the short term, he hopes to utilitze the parcel as an event parking lot during races while marketting it for a future commercial use.
